When a player is absent the dealer will always deal the absent player in. When the action gets to this player, that players hand will be mucked. (The dealer will always deal to the chips not the persons sitting at the table)
The small blind is posted by the player immediately to the left of the dealer. The big blind is posted by the player to the left of the small blind.
New players to a table will be dealt a hand, unless the seat they are taking is between the small blind and the dealer position. In these situations the player must wait for the dealer button to pass.
When equal amount or more players join a table, a new dealer will be drawn.
The dead button rule applies. This means that whoever had the small blind the previous hand will receive the button regardless of whether the player is still at the table or not (if not, the previous dealer will deal again). This will then force the blinds to become small blind, big blind, big blind. The next hand the blinds will be small blind, small blind, big blind. The following hand will then return to normal. (Barring no other players have been knocked out of a blind position). Players will not be allowed to stay and deal in order to keep the blinds straight. If you have any questions about the blinds it is always better to call the Director than to mess up the blinds.
All bets and raises pre and post flop must be equal or greater than the big blind or current bet.
Minimum bet for the Turn and the River is double the big blind or double the current bet.
When raising, a player must either put the amount of the raise out in one motion or state the raise amount. By stating the word "raise", a player protects his right to raise, but the raise must be made in one additional motion unless the amount is stated.
If a Player does not have enough chips to place a blind, that player is ALL-IN. If a player does not have enough chips to call a bet, the player can go ALL-IN. If this occurs, the other players with chips will continue the hand and bet into a side pot.
Each side pot will be split as a separate pot. They will not be mixed together before they are split.
When a Player goes ALL-IN and the bet is called by only one player, those Players will turn their cards face up for the Showdown and continue the hand.
All cards will be turned face up once all action is complete.
Rabbit hunting is allowed for the River card only.
Once a Player has lost all their chips they are required to leave the table. Players that have lost their chips, friends, family members or other spectators WILL NOT be allowed to sit at empty seats. Spectators will be allowed to watch from behind the players seated at the table.
If two or more Players are eliminated on the same hand, the player with most chips at the start of the hand will finish in the higher position. If chips are of equal amount the player with the best hand finishes in the higher position.
Odd chips: The odd chip(s) will go to the winning player closest to and left of the dealer.
A player who exposes his cards during play may incur a penalty
If any community cards are displayed out of turn, betting is frozen. Players will turn over their cards and the remaining community cards played out.
If a Player is dealt a card face up the dealer will continue to deal each position their hole cards. And the last card is dealt to the player who's card was face up. The card that was dealt face up will become the first burn card. (All players must see the card that was dealt face up then the card should turned face down to the burn pile, this card is now the first burn card and the next 3 cards are the Flop).
If the card dealt face up is eather the dealer,small blind or big blind it will be a miss deal and the cards will be dealt over.
The dealer is responsible for keeping the burn cards and muck cards in separate piles. If at anytime a player's hand is either accidentally or purposely thrown in the muck pile the cards are dead and cannot be played in that hand.
No one can turn over any of the burn or muck cards at anytime during the hand or after the hand. Players are not allowed to turn over another players cards at any time.
Players are obligated to protect the other players in the tournament at all times. Discussing discarded cards or hand possibilities is not allowed.
Chips and cards are to remain on the table in full view at all times.tournament.
Players may not have tournament chips in their pockets at any time. A player who has chips in his pocket will forfeit the chips and the player maybe disqualified. The forfeited chips will be taken out of play from the
Moving Players from a broken table to fill in seats at another table will assume the rights and responsibilities of the seat. A player can get the big blind, the small blind or the button. The only place a player cannot receive a hand is between the small blind and the button.
If a player requests a chip count, you are obligated to give the count, but not to call.
Any advice on a hand must come from the Director. The Director or any other players cannot tell another player how to play their hand.
Verbal declarations in turn are binding.
Action out of turn may be binding. (ie; calling All-IN, or making a call statement)
Verbally disclosing the contents of your hand or advising a player how to play a hand may result in a penalty.
Verbal declarations as to the content of a player's hand are not binding; however at the Directors discretion, any player deliberately miscalling his hand may be penalized.
The only player that may touch the chips in the pot is the acting dealer. If you need to make change from the pot, state your intentions and get permission from the acting dealer.
The cards will read themselves as to the winner of the hand and not any players. Disputes to the decision will be ruled by the Director.
ACE HIGH Staff reserves the right to change the blind schedule due to time restraints.
Color up occurs when chips of a specific value are no longer needed. Blinds will be raised every 10-20 minutes depending on the number of players. Blinds may start at a higher level if the round starts late for any reason. The Tournament Director may change this interval as time restraints dictate. Blinds will start at 100/200 and increase at the following intervals:
